Sunday

Sayyiduna Abu Abdullah, Uthman Ibn Abul-‘as
narrates:
of a pain, which he was experiencing in his body. Thus
said to him:
Place your hand on that place of your body, where there is pain, and read:
‘بسم الله’ Bismillaah
(In the name of الله), three times
And read (thereafter) seven times:
أعوذ بعزة الله، وقدرته، من شر ما أجد و احاذر

A’oozu bi ‘Izzatillahi wa Qud-rati-hee
(I seek refuge in the power and might of ALLAH TA’ALA)

Min Sharri maa Ajidu wa U-haa-ziru
(From the evil of that, which I experience and fear)

(Muslim)

Requesting ALLAH TA’ALA for good health is virtuous and beneficial.

Illness is a mercy from ALLAH TA’ALA, because it purifies one of sins initially and thereafter elevates stages in paradise, through it.
We are indeed weak, so we request for the mercy of good health, in place of the mercy of ill health.

May ALLAH TA‘ALA grant all the sick, quick and complete recovery with Aafiyat aameen yaa Rabbal aalameen
