اَلسَّلاَمْ عَلَيْــــــــــــــــــــكُمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللّٰه وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah
رضى الله تعالى عنه
narrates that
رسول الله صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم
said:

If any of you forgets (that he is fasting), then he eats or drinks, he should complete his fast, for verily ALLAH TA’ALA fed him and made him drink

(Bukhari/Muslim)

The fast will not be nullified.
Islaamic laws are in conformity with human nature, as ALLAH TA’ALA, the Creator, knows that man is prone to forgetfulness, and does not penalize man, when he forgets.

Today being the blessed day of Friday, let us recite Surah Kahf and excessive salawaat/durood on Nabee صلى الله عليه وسلم.
