At the Beginning of the Fast
وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
“Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri
ramadan”
“I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the
month of Ramadan”
“After” breaking fast
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ
الأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
“Zahabaz Zama’u wab tal latil uruqoo wa
sabbatal ajr InshaAllah”
“Thirst has gone, the arteries are moist, and the
reward is sure, if Allah wills.”

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
“Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul
-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni”
“O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love
forgiveness; so forgive me”
